118 Pakistanis, 2 smugglers arrested in

  Two people were caught in Çanakkale's district of Ayvacık for alleged smuggling of illegal immigrants along with 118 refugees in preparation for their journey of hope. Gulpinar Gendarmerie Station Commanders affiliated to the Ayvacik District Gendarmerie Headquarters undertook the operation, where 118 refugees with Pakistani nationality were seized. The refugees brought to the District Gendarmerie Command were handed over to the Aliens Return Center in Ayvacık after the completion of their operations. The gendarmerie teams also detained 2 people who were linked to the incident and found that they organized the smuggling of migrants.
